Seattle Trip!!

Brady had a business trip in Washington State last week and I came and joined him for 4 days and we had soooo much fun. We missed the boys, but having time just the two of us was so wonderful and we have such great memories!!

We visited Mt. Rainier! It grew into a winter wonderland the closer we got to the top. I actually had trouble breathing as we hiked up towards the top, so we only could go so far... I am getting old :(

We drove through the Wenatchee Mountains coming back to Seattle from Yakima.

Pikes Place Market Downtown Seattle... it is well known for its Fish Market where they throw the fish to the register! It was a really cool place :)

We took a one hour boat tour around the bay and it was so cool! Here are some pictures of the view from the boat of the city.

Pictures from one of the piers.

One of the highlights of our trip was going to the Space Needle!! It was so neat at the top and the best part was having lunch at the rotating restaurant :)

Brady's birthday fell on the Saturday we were there... he enjoyed a yummy ice cream sunday at dinner!!

“As A Mom…A Sisterhood of Mommy Patriots.”

To all Conservative Mommy's:

Here is a new website for Christian conservative mom's who can get together and talk about what is important to them and their families in regards to government issues and politics. Conservative mom's are out there and we are proud our of country!!

http://asamom.ning.com/

The Nine Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

7 Months Old

This is a little delayed, but time has been going by so fast!!

Our little man is now 7 months old and boy is a funny guy! He laughs more than he does anything else and sometimes I look around the room trying to figure out what is so funny! Most of the time it is Landon, but he thinks I am pretty hilarious too (at least someone does)! He is now transitioning into table foods like pancakes, spaghetti, cereal puffs, bread and anything else I find that he can start gumming. He loves food and tries to grab our plates and food all the time. Brady and I are a little concerned what our grocery bill is going to start looking like in the next year! He is also the world's best backwards scooter!! No crawling yet, but when he gets on the hardwood floors, watch out! He moves backwards really fast on his belly and gets himself in quite the predicaments :) No teeth yet either... not sure where the little stinkers are... He loves Sprout, my hip, his binkie, food, naps with me and Landon, shopping, wrestling with Landon and giggle time with daddy!!

Yay for Brockie!!

Park + Boys = FUN :)

Video Clip

Landon's First Day of Preschool

Landon had his first day of preschool this week and he had such a great time. He came out of class on the first day and yelled "Mommy, I love school!" It was so hard to hold back the tears when dropping him off and picking him up... he is still my little baby and it is hard for me to believe that he is going to school now!

Brady and I are so proud of him :)

Landon's 4th Birthday Party

We had Landon's 4th Birthday party today at the Maple Grove Community Center! He had sooooo much fun at his party, I don't even know if everyone there saw how happy he was the entire time. He told me today when we got home that he loved everything everyone got him and I know he truly does :) I made him his cake and he said that it was the best part of the day... not sure if it is true, but he sure knows how to work me!!! hehehe

I can not believe that my baby is now four. I can still remember clear as day holding him in the hospital right after I had him, the first steps he took, his wide eyed 2 year old eyes when we entered Magic Kingdom in Disney, picking him up from daycare and having him run into my arms, going to his first movie and eating a whole bucket of popcorn and just this last summer looking me in the eyes and telling me that he is too old to be riding in a stroller. He is one amazing little boy and I feel so BLESSED to have him as my son. He is a wonderful brother and as of lately, been so much more patient with Brock. I know that he will always be a great older brother and I can tell that Brock already looks up to him. I am so excited to see what the next year will bring as he starts his first year of preschool and a whole new world of independence!

We love you, Landon :)

Video of Landon during Happy Birthday song... I came in too late, as usual!!

Princeton Family Farm

We spent the day on Wednesday up at the family farm in Princeton with my parents, grandparents and my uncle. Landon had so much fun and stayed busy all day! He got to drive his car, the lawn mower and the big tractor with my Dad... he even asked me if we could spend the night!! I think Landon would have loved to live on a farm :)
