8 Months Old, Baby!!

Brockie is now 8 months old... where to start!! He is now down to three 7oz bottles a day and is eating table food for AM snack, Lunch and Dinner. He loves to eat and is VERY good at it. He even uses a plate for every meal and we are at the point now where is almost makes it the whole meal without throwing it on the floor! He has also started to crawl... and boy, does he get into trouble!! hehehe He is hitting all the same "hot spots" that Landon did at his age... T.V., fireplace, STAIRS and he seems to get stuck underneath all tables!! Still no teeth!!! I have no idea where they are :-O

He and Landon have been "playing" together more often now. Landon is starting to a little more frustrated because Brock seems to like all of Landon's toys and NOT his baby toys! Brock wants to play Cars, Transformers and football... he LOVES football and everytime he holds the ball he goes into a giggle fit :-) One problem with having a 4 year old and a baby on the move is all the little pieces from Landon's toys that Brock likes to put in his mouth... so, now I have the pack and play out in the living room for Brock to play in while Landon has his big boy time on the floor and then we put the "little" toys away and Brock comes out and can have free range to roam without worry!
Waking up and seeing Brock's beautiful smile through the crib makes my day :-D

Seattle Trip!!

Brady had a business trip in Washington State last week and I came and joined him for 4 days and we had soooo much fun. We missed the boys, but having time just the two of us was so wonderful and we have such great memories!!

We visited Mt. Rainier! It grew into a winter wonderland the closer we got to the top. I actually had trouble breathing as we hiked up towards the top, so we only could go so far... I am getting old :(

We drove through the Wenatchee Mountains coming back to Seattle from Yakima.

Pikes Place Market Downtown Seattle... it is well known for its Fish Market where they throw the fish to the register! It was a really cool place :)

We took a one hour boat tour around the bay and it was so cool! Here are some pictures of the view from the boat of the city.

Pictures from one of the piers.

One of the highlights of our trip was going to the Space Needle!! It was so neat at the top and the best part was having lunch at the rotating restaurant :)

Brady's birthday fell on the Saturday we were there... he enjoyed a yummy ice cream sunday at dinner!!

“As A Mom…A Sisterhood of Mommy Patriots.”

To all Conservative Mommy's:

Here is a new website for Christian conservative mom's who can get together and talk about what is important to them and their families in regards to government issues and politics. Conservative mom's are out there and we are proud our of country!!

http://asamom.ning.com/

The Nine Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

7 Months Old

This is a little delayed, but time has been going by so fast!!

Our little man is now 7 months old and boy is a funny guy! He laughs more than he does anything else and sometimes I look around the room trying to figure out what is so funny! Most of the time it is Landon, but he thinks I am pretty hilarious too (at least someone does)! He is now transitioning into table foods like pancakes, spaghetti, cereal puffs, bread and anything else I find that he can start gumming. He loves food and tries to grab our plates and food all the time. Brady and I are a little concerned what our grocery bill is going to start looking like in the next year! He is also the world's best backwards scooter!! No crawling yet, but when he gets on the hardwood floors, watch out! He moves backwards really fast on his belly and gets himself in quite the predicaments :) No teeth yet either... not sure where the little stinkers are... He loves Sprout, my hip, his binkie, food, naps with me and Landon, shopping, wrestling with Landon and giggle time with daddy!!

Yay for Brockie!!
