Brock's One Year Old!!

Yes, my baby is one year old now!! It is so hard to believe, but I feel like being home full-time with him over the past year, I was able to enjoy him to the fullest!! He is still not walking, but we all know he COULD if he would just try. He walks around the entire house by holding on to stuff, just so hard headed!! lol His personality is starting to change a little too... toddler tude is coming out. All of a sudden the scream of death is his new favorite things to do... he could be sitting and playing being happy and all of a sudden I can not hear anything anymore!! He usually starts laughing when he sees him mommy giving him the LOD, but when you are as cute as him, you can get away with it. He is also starting to play with Landon, which sometimes works great, but most of the time ends in two kids screaming and pulling on one toy. O'well, their love is growing for eachother ;-)


Brock also has 5 teeth and has another one just about to cut through. The last couple of weeks have been very tiring and both Brock and I have had very little sleep. He is still quite the charmer and spends most of the day smiling and laughing. As far as food, he eats EVERYTHING!! He hands down out eats Landon at most meals and loves McDonald's cheeseburgers... but don't tell daddy!! hehe He loves all fruit, veggies and grilled chicken, which is served at our house on a daily basis.

Christmas morning at our house!! Landon was soooo tired, he had only 5 hours a sleep that night, so I am not sure he was fully awake :-)

What a fun Christmas season we had this year!! It was Brock's first Christmas and it was the first year that Landon really knew what was going on! lol

I took so many pictures, but here are a couple good ones from my Grandma's house on Christmas Eve night, our house on Christmas morning and my parents house Christmas Day :-D

10 Months Old!!

This is late with the craze of Christmas and all, but little Brock is now 10 months old!! He is a speed crawler and loves to get into EVERYTHING!! He definitely keeps me on my toes during the day :-) He is pulling himself up now on furniture and trying to take little steps while hanging on... I think he is pretty happy just crawling and hanging on my hip, so I really need to start working more with him to spark a "walking" interest! Brock still only has two bottom front teeth and we are waiting for some more to come in soon... though it does not stop him from eating pretty much anything and everything! He sleeps wonderfully through the night, takes a short morning nap and usually a long afternoon nap... he is quite the sleeper like his mommy and daddy (not like Landon lol)! He loves to go shopping with me and has fun dropping and picking up brother from preschool! Brock is such a little trooper and makes the times when it is crazy busy so much easier for me and I am very thankful for that :-D

9 Months Old...Can You Believe It??

All I can say is, he is on the move!! He is a fast crawler and gets into everything. Forget baby toys, Brock is not into them... he only wants to play with "big boy" toys and he has started to follow big brother Landon around everywhere because brother is totally cool. I love watching them start to really interact with eachother, but Landon keeps asking when he is going to start walking and eating chips! lol

The exciting news is, he got his first tooth FINALLY this week :-) I was so happy because I was starting to think he was going to have a gummy smile for his senior pictures!! Like everyother month since he was born, he is a great eater... he wants to eat everything in site. He is on 100% table foods now and I am very proud how he has done being he just got a front tooth. He still has 3- 7oz bottles a day and takes about 2 naps a day... a small on in the AM and a long one in the afternoon.

He is the happiest baby ever and smiles all day long. Brock is starting to test me though, he will do something he is not suppose to do and then look at me and smile and he will keep doing it... then when I start walking towards him he squeals and starts crawling away... stinker!!

A Day at the MN Zoo

The boys and I went to the MN Zoo today and had such a good time! We also stopped at Solos Pizza after for some yummy food. Overall... the day was a success!!
